Before & After School Care North Vancouver

We care for students attending École Boundary Elementary (Kindergarten to Grade 3) at our before & after school care program located at 870 Lynn Valley Road, North Vancouver. Our program encourages growth and learning through the principles of exploration, community, and nature with a 1:12 caregiver to child ratio.

We believe every child is wholly competent and has an inherent ability to learn about the world in their own unique way. As caregivers at Olive Grove Childcare, it is our role to listen and follow in the child’s pathways of discovery.

Michelle

Manager
She believes that children thrive in an environment filled with connection, care, and encouragement. She values the importance of building meaningful relationships and understands that early childhood experiences lay the foundation for a lifetime of learning and growth.
She loves spending time with family and friends and enjoys being surrounded by people, which inspires her approach to creating a classroom atmosphere where every child feels a sense of belonging and community. Her goal is to ensure that every child feels valued, supported, and capable of achieving success in their own unique way.

Hannah

Program Lead
Hannah found her passion for childcare in high school. She values collaboration and sees each child as capable and curious. She fosters growth through exploration, creativity, and risky play, encouraging children to build confidence by stepping outside their comfort zones. As a playful, lifelong learner, she actively participates alongside children to support their development through connection and curiosity. Hannah has 5 years experience with school age children and is looking forward to gaining experience with infants and toddlers after recently graduating.

Lynn

Educator
Lynn believes that children are uniquely capable, curious, creative, and competent individuals who actively shape their own learning. As she deeply values and has worked with holistic outdoor-based education programs, she views the environment and outdoor world as a vital third educator, offering boundless opportunities for inquiry, risk-taking, inclusive and collaborative learning. She greatly values reciprocal learning with children, growing alongside, and deepening relationships through exploration, meaningful interactions, and community.

Lynn has over 5 years experience in infant toddler, preschool, one-on-one, and elementary school age groups throughout her bachelor’s program - specifically working at a shíshálh Indigenous childcare centre.
