Daycare at Dundarave, West Vancouver
We care for infant, toddler, and preschool age children at our Dundarave childcare located at 885 22nd Street, West Vancouver. Our Reggio Emilia inspired program encourages growth and learning through the principles of exploration, community, and nature. Specialty programs include: gardening, baking, music, yoga, swimming for preschoolers, and integration with senior citizens.
We believe every child is wholly competent and has an inherent ability to learn about the world in their own unique way. As caregivers at Olive Grove Childcare, it is our role to listen and follow in the child’s pathways of discovery.

Rose Nguyen
Educator Support
Hi! My name is Rose. I have been pursuing Early Childhood Education for 3 years now. I am a Vietnamese-Canadian. I love to find new ways to connect with children to expand my knowledge in inclusive learning. I believe that every child has strengths that belong in a classroom. My hope is that each child will have the opportunity to explore their interests in a way that empowers them to take initiative in their own way.
I grew in a musical family. Therefore, music makes up a very big part of who I am. I believe that we can communicate our emotions and express the our circumstances through the art of music. In the classroom, music is a powerful tool that can change the atmosphere. Music and movement allows us to lean into the emotions that need tending to. As I grow as an educator, my dream is to find all the ways that music can be incorporated into a learning setting. Music is a great way to play!
As I finish my last semester at Douglas College, I am excited to take my learning into action at Olive Grove. I hope to build strong relationships that will reflect in the trust and growth of the children. I approach learning as a life-long journey. I am honoured to have your community be a part of my growth. I look forward to creating a space where imagination can run wild!
