We care for children aged 30 months to 5 years at our full day preschool located at 870 Lynn Valley Road, North Vancouver. Our Reggio Emilia inspired program encourages growth and learning through the principles of exploration, community, and nature.

We believe every child is wholly competent and has an inherent ability to learn about the world in their own unique way. As caregivers at Olive Grove Childcare, it is our role to listen and follow in the child’s pathways of discovery.

Preschoolers

Children are encouraged to work together to explore materials and test out their theories in a rich environment that creates new understandings and collaboration.
Our licensed preschool program offers group size varies per location. Preschool children follow a flexible schedule which is catered to the child’s interests and is documented through Lillio.

Before & After School

Kindergarten - Grade 3
We offer care before & after school care for children in Kindergarten - Grade 3. Our program encourages growth and learning through the principles of exploration, community, and nature.
Our licensed program offers group ratios of 1:12. Children are dropped off and picked up from school.

She believes that children thrive in an environment filled with connection, care, and encouragement. She values the importance of building meaningful relationships and understands that early childhood experiences lay the foundation for a lifetime of learning and growth.
She loves spending time with family and friends and enjoys being surrounded by people, which inspires her approach to creating a classroom atmosphere where every child feels a sense of belonging and community. Her goal is to ensure that every child feels valued, supported, and capable of achieving success in their own unique way.

Charmaine Latina

Floor Supervisor

Where play meets learning. Charmaine brings a decade of teaching expertise to Olive Grove, sparking imagination and curiosity in young hearts. She delights in playing alongside her students, guiding them toward lifelong discovery.
Her teaching philosophy blends play, exploration, and care.
Charmaine's kitchen is her happy place, where cooking brings joy and warmth to her loved ones.

Preschool Program

Karli Arthurs

Preschool Program
Karli believes every child is full of wonder, uniqueness and knowledge. She prides herself in creating a space that children not only feel respected and care for but also sparkles with magic and joy. With that children can explore their self-expression, interests and imagination to the fullest. Karli knows the power of play and how it is an integral part of childhood development and learning.
Music and nature are what sings to Karli’s heart. When she’s not at work you can count that she’s either climbing a mountain, skiing down it or having a good boogie!

Preschool Program - Part Time
